❊ What if I'm claustrophobic? Do I have to close the pod? ❊
Our pods are designed to stay open at any angle you desire. While a closed floatSPA is quite spacious, you are in complete control over the experience and are welcome to leave the pod open to your comfort.
❊ What happens if I fall asleep? ❊
It might possibly be some of the best sleep you've experienced. Some people fall asleep during their float, but the water is so buoyant you stay afloat.
❊ How are the tanks kept clean? ❊
Our floatSPA pods utilize a complex multi-stage filtration system. Our 100% water evacuation process between each guest makes the floatSPA the cleanest, most hygienic, and most advanced float pod in the world.
❊ Is there anything I should NOT do before my float? ❊
We do not recommend shaving before your float, as your skin may be more sensitive in the dense solution of Epson Salt. We also recommend avoiding caffeine before your float.
❊ Can I float if I have dyed my hair recently? ❊
If you have recently colored your hair, please be sure to wait at least 10 days before floating. It must be able to rinse clear, without bleeding onto a white towel. Please reschedule to avoid cancellation fee if you think this may be an issue.
❊ Will my hair get wet? ❊
Yes. You will shower twice, and the majority of your head will be under water the duration of your float session. Shower caps and swim caps do not prevent hair from getting wet during a float session. Your hair WILL get wet.
❊ Can I bring a friend? ❊
Absolutely. You can't float together but we have several floatSPA pods that can be used simultaneously.
❊ If you have any particular needs that require use of our ADA float room, please call in advance to notify our staff to ensure the room is available for your appointment. ❊
